DESCRIPTION:
Ithaca Calendar Clock Co., Ithaca, NY, "No. 6 1/2 Belgrade" shelf clock with E. N. Welch spring driven 8 day time and strike movement with a perpetual calendar mechanism in an ash case.
CONDITION:
The case is in very good condition with an original finish which shows some variation across the surfaces of the case. The time and calendar black paper dials are have a uniformly rough surface that has age and may well be original to the clock. The unique pendulum rod and bob are original. The time dial shows some deterioration. The hands are original. The movement is signed. The calendar drum papers appear original. The door glass is original. A scarce Ithaca model.
